Byron Bay Surf Report

Easterly swell fades to a slower 2ft+ along exposed open breaks this morning, while mixing with slight NE windswell at lower levels elsewhere. Early NNW winds see some reasonable surface quality along open stretches, but it will deteriorate as they turn northerly 10 to 20 knots. The northerlies should die out in the afternoon ahead of a weak southerly change in the late arvo, so the late will be worth a look.
