Byron Bay Surf Report

There's a substantial push in SSE swell showing peak size in the 3 to 4ft plus range across south facing breaks this morning, but strong southerly quarter winds won't be doing these venues any favours. You'll probably do better inside a southern corner for some smaller waves in the 2 to 3ft range and more like 1 to 2ft in the Bay Winds are SSW to southerly inshore 10 to 20 knots, tending SSE 15 to 25 knots during the morning, then lighter SE in the afternoon.

Morning
Swell: 1.3m
Wind: SE 10-20 kts
Best at: South-facing beaches
Conditions: Glassy

Afternoon
Swell: 1.2m
Wind: SE 0-10 kts
Best at: South-facing beaches
Conditions: Glassy
