Byron Bay Surf Report

Expect a strong rise in mid period S groundswell; ranging anywhere from 3 to 5ft across northern NSW exposed coasts and potentially building towards 4 to 6ft during the afternoon. Expect much smaller waves out of the direct path of the swell trains ranging anywhere from 2 to 4ft depending on exposure - and still near-flat in the Bay. Winds are Westerly, WNW 10 to 15 knots, tending Northerly, then NNW 10 to 20 knots in the afternoon.
